It felt alright when my feelings died is Bim Erikssons debut, an autobiographical comic collection of drawings and short stories. The book addresses topics as love, abuse, feelings and feminism, all in a carefully considered mix of comics, illustration and poetry.

Venice summer
12 pages autobiographical comic set in the very heart of Venice. The comic is drawn with ink on paper and figures the constant present of death in one of Europes most beautiful cities.
The comic was drawn in the summer of 2021 and was first published in the anthology Invisibile Lines Squadro Edizioni Grafiche by Sigaretten and later in the Italian magazine internazionale.

The Clarke sisters is a comic interpretation of the song with the same namne by the legendary Australian rock band The Go-Betweens.

Comic Jam
The Swedish comic magazine Galago got the idea to dedicate an entire issue to a big comic jam. A comic jam is a collectively created story, where one artist starts to draw either a panel or several pages and then another artist takes over and continues the story….
Swedish comic artist Anneli Furmark started the story and drew eight pages about two girls and a babysitter and sixteen pages in Bim took over and drew eight pages guiding these girls in to a
monstrous night.

Papa
Papa is a pieces of autofiction, commissioned and published in Le Monde diplomatique, 2023.
The story is about Bim and her dad that passed away two years ago. In this piece he comes back as a small little ghost to see if his family is doing OK. You can read the comic here.
The covid diary
An autobiographical short story and cover illustration for Galago Magazine, about the first trembling weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this story the feeling of anxiety, fear and stress due to the pandemic takes the shape of a quirky bear-like character in cowboy boots who decides to move in. The comic was published in June 2020 and you can buy the issue here.
